stupid inappropriate talk time

We beat the storm home last night, before the roads were closed due to high winds and pick up sticks across the highway. My kids met me at the door, ooey and gooey with affection.

When it came time for bed, Lexi stomped her foot and declared: "Why? So you two can have stupid! inappropriate! talk! time!?" Oh, the drama.

Greg and I grinned and patted her poor neglected little head and turned her to her room.

My departure seemed to cure surly daughter disease.

Oh they always save the best for mom, don't they? I'm glad you guys made it back safely. Hope you had some good inappropriate, uh, talk time with your husband.

My kids aren't old enough to pick up on the inappropriate nature of our conversations. heehee... can't wait for those 'tween years.
That made me laugh out loud.

I hope you had a great time on your girls' getaway!! Good to have you back!
I shouldn't be, but I'm so giggling over that. Hope you had a fun trip!

Funny. I hope your 'talking' went well and was inappropriate.

Thanks for going with Stephanie and Jen this weekend.

That is so funny -- stupid, inappropriate, talk, time. :-) Heheh. You'll need to get a code word or something... for us, we're having "Chinese food" for dinner. And then my husband says, "TWO dishes? Or just one?" heheheheh

I'm stealing that phrase for class. Surely many will engage (in the actual stupid inappropriate talk time; if they go for the figurative meaning, heads will have to roll).

Thank you for joining me & Jen/Hilary. It was SO GREAT.

I like "inappropriate talk time!" We take "naps with music." Perhaps we should try talking. . .
