for every toy, there is a wire

We were greeted by this sunrise and squealing kids.

greg woke up to this

It even snowed! (There was a 1% chance of snowfall on Christmas in the Portland area.)

I repeat: IT SNOWED

Here's a picture of my family, at my Mom and Dad's place:

christmas day 2

(And yes. I cropped my booty off in this picture. It was alarming. No one needs to see that, especially after prying toys out of packages.)

Now I'm off to clean up around here, put together a Bionicle (!) and play with my new tripod.

{More pictures here. And wordless here.}

I was about to type, "A belated Merry Christmas!"

Then I realized we're just on day two of twelve, so I'm feeling pretty on the ball.

Merry Christmas!

don't you love that we modern folk have the ability to crop unwanted body parts off? I know I do. It's the best. Love your snow pic.

that sunrise is heavenly
Love the pictures!! Every time I see you I think you're just the cutest thing! Booty or no booty.

It snowed here too. The kids were beyond excited. It did a bit Christmas Eve and some Christmas Day and some today. Nothing that sticks, but it's just the prospect of it.

I absolutely LOVE that family picture! I like how everyone is beaming. I don't think I've seen that large of a smile on Greg in a long time. Santa must've been good to him. I'm sure you guys had a great Christmas!!!

Nothing like squealing kids and a little snow. Love that cute grin on your boy with his baby teeth gone. Too cute! Happy Holidays, Lisa!

Dang you're pretty!

I like you anyway. =P

Having lived in the Portland area for four years at one point, I know how remarkable that snowfall is. So happy for you!

Looks like you had a good Christmas, you have a great looking family. I was cracking up when you said you cropped your booty off. At 6 months pregnant I only allow my face to be photographed, and will be cropping the booty off for months after delivery.
