this little piggy

this little piggy
When my sister asked me what I wanted for my birthday, probably in July, I mentioned I'd been wishing I had inherited the seamstress gene so I could make myself an Olivia apron.

Because I love that piggy so.

And like magic, because she sews and is organized, here it is, just as I hoped.

I can't imagine a better gift.

Because I love that sister so.

(Looking for truly wordless Wednesdays: right this way.)

Your precious gift extends beyond the apron, it would seem. How inspiring to read this!

I hope you'll drop by for a peek at my WW contribution:

Good day :)

Very cool gift! Just knowing she heard you, remembered and created it...what a great sister! can I borrow her?...;-)
That is beyond cute. I picture you wearing a pearl necklace with it for some reason. Odd.
Oh my goodness, that is so adorable!!! (1) I love aprons, and vintage aprons especially. (2) Olivia is the cutest little pig. I love her too!

What a great gift!

Cute! I have some of that fabric, but, unlike your sister, I do not have my act together and have produced nothing.

Wow! How totally cute!

I'm starting to think I need an apron in the kitchen. When the front of my shirt is so wet it looks like I'm a newly nursing mom (and my kids are 5 and 3) you know it's time to get an apron!!!!!
