hmm, i wonder if they have wirless internet at the courthouse? you know, so at least you can surf and have some sanity while sitting in a in folding chair for 8 hours...

Okay, everyone groans but I can't help but feel a little neglected because I have NEVER EVER EVER been summoned to a jury. Why? What's wrong with me? I know the right answer to "Do you think this person is guilty?" I have been free to be a peer for 21 years; why never meeeee?

Surely now that I have a paying job taking up every day, I will be selected.

Maybe you could do jury duty together... hole up in a hotel somewhere, order room service and walk around in terry robes (nevermind that there would be ten other strangers with you). It could be like a little vacation.
