hark! it's the Great Pumpkin Patch

There's no denying I am one giddy kiddo when it comes to pumpkin patches. I'm one skipping, goofball masquerading as a grown up, searching for just the right pumpkin and gawking at itty, bitty baby goats.

(Greg gave up football on Sunday to hold my hand and pretend to love it as much as I do. Of course, he doesn't but I'm glad we all went, just the same.)

Great pics!

We had a farm/garden center with huge pumpkin patch/corn maze/fall activities within walking distance of our house. Sadly, the farmers who owned it wanted to retire so they sold the land to a condo developer. Boo :(

My daughter is 16, but I think that she's cool with me dragging her to the pumpkin patch. At least, she'll have to pretend that she is.

I love the one of the chicken!
I agree, fall is the bestest, most hopeful and wonderful time of year.

I have never been to an official pumpkin patch, although my dad prides himself on growing gigantic pumpkins.... in the manure pile. I'm not quite as inspired to take family pictures there, for some reason.

Hey! Those shots are great. You had an awesome day in the patch. I have patches on the brain... estrogen patches, not pumpkin patches!

It does look super fun, despite Greg's unfortunate choice of shirt...(heh)

I want to rub my hands all over that awesome turkey! Until he tried to pluck my eyes out. That would be a drag.

Those are awesome pics! The baby goats... I want one. He can mow my grass and I can pet him. And all of those apples? That's what my kitchen looks like right now. I'm making apple sauce today.

Lisa,
Neat pictures! You got some great shots of the family and the livestock! We were blessed with great weather, fellowship, fun, drinks and a pumpkin each. We'll have to go again next year.
Love, Dad
