the beatings will continue until morale improves*

1, 2, 3, testing. Testing. Is this thing on?

It's been over a week since my last post and well, what do you know? I didn't even lapse into the fetal position, being away from my laptop.

(Cue the choir. I had my doubts...)

We are home and well and rested. I've got some stories to share, but for now it's enough to post some pictures and be glad that we got away, and we spent some downtime together. (And by downtime I mean sprinting through both parks, putting in some serious mileage.) Anything else I write is going to be sappy, because my kids? They haved missed their Dad something fierce this year, with all the time he has been away. That goes double for me.

It was time well spent.

Oh, how fun. Was it really crowded? I want to go take Laura out of school and head there right now!

Your photos are darling. Laura did the Jedi Training Academy when last we went. And where can I get me a Captain Jack Sparrow impersonator?

I love the duck photo at the end.

At times - when Greg would get way ahead of me - it seemed crazy busy. But it wasn't too bad or too hot either.

The kids loved the Jedi training; it was a big hit. And they loved all the roller coasters, so we were able to ride everything as a foursome.

And that Jack Sparrow? He was spot on.

Welcom back Lisa. Did you work the Fast Pass system for all it was worth?

My son would love the Jedi training. It looks like you all had a great time! Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Welcome back!

We fastpassed until we nearly passed out. We'd race one way, while Greg would get them or we'd race all together.

(We still couldn't understand the folks standing in line for hours. Wah??? We privately called it the sucker line because we are kind like that.)

Looks like you had a great time - glad you got to spend some quality family time.
I had no idea on the Jedi thing. Stu would be so jealous. Zack looks adorable (don't tell him I said that - I know he was aiming for all I am a fierce warrior, the force is strong in me etc etc etc look)
