Get your pom-poms; or when the wee ones complain

Me, all sing-songy and very annoying: When you say BORE-DOM, I say HOUSE-WORK.

If that doesn't work, I jump up and down and say:

Let's sweep, let's sweep, let's really sweep. Let's dust, let's dust, let's really dust. Let's scrub, let's scrub, let's really scrub. Let's sweep, Let's dust, Let's scrub.

(They scatter, afraid - much like you. It works like a charm. I'll maintain what's left of my summer sanity or have a clean house. Either way, it's a V-I-C-T-O-R-Y for me.)

Freakin funny... and my high school pom-poms really were purple, yellow, and white. They are hiding in my garage... never thought to break them out for housework...

Oh no...Am I really in the company of former cheerleaders?!? Well, if it gets your housework done, I guess I'll let it slide. But don't expect me to hollaback. (Ugh, I know).

This is what I do with my 6 year old. I rarely hear the words, "I'm bored" anymore!
