And our neighbors love us.
My trees are soaked; the house too. I'm rethinking swimming lessons at our favorite outside pool in t-minus 11 days. At least until we get into July and winter finally ceases.
Could I wrangle up VBS at this late date? Maybe we could build an ark and float to Eugene...

My child starts VBS next week; and no swimming lessons this year b/c they didn't work time-wise.
Hubby got a wagner power sprayer and painted our whole house in a weekend last summer. Might be a worthwhile purchase - they are not too expenisve.
We tried to do it in one big spurt during the last of the nice weather last year. And from the front, it is ok.
But the sides were difficult...
And then the rain came and Greg worked out of town.
(It has kept me humble.)
Word to the wise: We should have just waited until the next year, that's all.
Our home projects always stretch out to infinity. I'm sure our neighbors just LOVE us.

You are very funny. And I'm sure your neighbors do love you. And it just makes me laugh harder to know that I think it's hilarious and my Ex would have just gone on and on about "the neighbors who couldn't finish painting their house." HA. Let it go! Life goes on! If that's all you have to worry about then you aren't doing enough with your life!
Summer's slow in coming here as well, but at least it isn't raining. Luuurve living further North (you know, except in the hideously long wintertime that is).
That would totally be like something we would do.
And...stupid rain.

It must be really bad, this rain. Just know many people have 1/2 painted houses and don't have any Winter weatherlike excuse!
