off kilter

left leaning

It always takes me a few days to recover after Christmas. On the 26th, my easy-going nature gives way to Neurosis, and I want just a little order.

I haven't quite managed it yet, but I'm getting there.

And I can't wait to dive back into blogging later this week. Until then, I pray the New Year ushers in hope and peace in your corner of the world.

Thanks for reading.

I am so ready to get back to reality. Except for the whole cleaning up the holiday mess part. I'm on it, but not loving it.
Agreed. How much egg nog and sugar cookies can one person take? How many kiddo vacation days can one parent withstand?

Only you would notice the snowman melting to the left, grab your camera and post it to your blog!! Now that Portland is merely drippy, let's get together soon!

I know when I get home, I will be feeling the heat of getting-back-to-reality.

I'll be seeking your help (aka jaunts to Starbucks, Blockbuster, skate park, Jen's house...). And - happy hour this weekend? :D

I'm not back to center yet, for sure. Happy New Year!

Nothing is as cleansing as putting away all of the new socks and undies into the drawers and picking up the wrapping, vacuuming the pine needles and finishing off the leftovers. I'm all about the tidy up.

This is such a great photo and so apt for this post.

The holidays certainly leave me off kilter ... before they even begin. I hope that things are coming around for you.
