sickly and inspired

All this talk of service and giving back and working hard has me feeling inspired.

It makes me want to be more, do more.

[After my nose stops running and we have hot water again. (Our hot water heater did not get the memo. It is failing miserably.)]

Better still: My kids came home talking politics and history, full of expectation. Speaking of greatness...

It doesn't get any sweeter than that.

It's such a blast being a mom in this point in history. I like that my kids will grow up as a citizen of a country that has been so inspiring the world over.

Feel better soon. I'd offer to share my comtrex with you but will spare you the bloodshed of trying to get the package open.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. The water heater going is adding insult to injury. Wrong wrong wrong.

Obama's speech was uplifting. And I am not even American. Here's to big things for all of you.

Hey, I'm going to have some time on my hands soon. I have repaired a hot water heater or two. Give us a call.

I hope your cold leaves you soon... but I've been teary all day, just at the brink of expectation of all the changes we have just seen... and so much more and better things to come.

I was really overwhelmed today by the thought that we are LIVING history- I mean, obviously we're ALWAYS living it, but right now we're living the kind of history that our grandchildren will be forced to take tests on! Hah!

I love that the inauguration has given us all an opportunity to talk even more about politics and history, and the future, with our kids.

Hope you feel better soon, and your water heater as well.

It has been inspiring I'll agree--seems every one is more hopeful.
