advent

stage frightLexi's first exhibit

Bragfest, the holiday edition, continues: This just in.

Lexi's baby Jesus manger painting was framed and on display today during services. And Zack made his Mama proud when he delivered his line on stage like a champ this morning.

(The kajillion hours of speech therapy paid off.)

Good evening. We're celebrating advent, too. No performances on stage or altar yet for my little ones, they're sticking to performances at home. We're always in rehearsal...

You so deserve to brag. That is really special that your daughter's picture was framed and on display.

And your boy...nothing like wallowing in the sheer joy of hearing your son speak who has had speech issues. I don't know what ones he had, but my son had speech delay and he had a speech therapist for about 9 months when he was 2-3.

I think we need a photo of that framed picture This reader demands it!

I keep meaning to mention how much your daughter looks like you...I'm sure you hear this a lot. The likeness is stunning.

I want a photo of the picture, too!
Bragging is half the fun of the holidays, isn't it? So lovely!
I will have to take a better picture of the painting - I didn't bring my bigger camera to church, because I thought I'd look, well, like a crazy stage Mom.

I'll post one soon. It is really cute.

Crazy Stage Mom says YOU MUST POST THE PICTURE! :) (We watched our brag-worthy Sheriff's performance yesterday at church; will post pics soon).

I love your babes, and I bet it is so gratifying to see Zack onstage especially. Nicely done, Milton minions!
