I wade through kids and canines, littering my bedroom floor, a sleepover in Mom's room while my husband works out of town. This is how we are doing spring break, while the sky breaks and it rains enough to make this girl from the Northwest pout.
I'm not prone to being disappointed; take this as you will. I'm usually game for most things, accepting the good with the bad, but I've caught myself whining a lot this week. Many friends are in sunnier climes, I imagine having superior Breaks. I'm usually one of the few people in my circle of friends that stays in town as Greg works long hours, finishing up his fiscal year. Still, this year was worse. I have been immeasurably restless. I'm sure it will pass.
Yesterday I met up with Sam to learn the ways of Dragon Training. It's a great little flick, starring my dog, Courtney.

It's worth checking out with the kidlets. Maybe an Easter matinee? I think Jesus will approve.
